Key Responsibilities
BIM Modeling & Coordination
- Develop, update, and manage detailed 3D and 4D BIM models for underground metro infrastructure including stations, tunnels, shafts, and utilities.
- Coordinate BIM models across multiple disciplines: civil, structural, architectural, MEP, and geotechnical.
- Prepare accurate construction shop drawings, coordinated layouts, and clash detection reports using Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
Data Integration & Digital Collaboration
- Integrate survey and geotechnical data for precise underground condition representation.
- Support Digital Twin initiatives and manage data within Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms like BIM 360 or ProjectWise.
- Facilitate model-based coordination meetings and participate in clash resolution workshops.
Project Support & Documentation
- Generate quantity take-offs and assist in 4D simulation for construction planning and progress visualization.
- Ensure strict adherence to BIM Execution Plans (BEP), project standards, and client requirements.
- Maintain accurate as-built BIM models and assist with comprehensive project handover documentation.
Skills & Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- 5 to 10 years of proven experience in BIM modeling within metro rail or heavy infrastructure projects.
Technical Skills
- Proficient in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks Manage, AutoCAD, and BIM authoring tools.
- Solid understanding of underground construction processes and multi-disciplinary coordination.
- Familiarity with ISO 19650 standards, BIM Execution Plans (BEP), and CDE platforms.
Preferred Skills
- Experience modeling complex underground geometries like NATM and TBM tunnels, station boxes.
- Knowledge of 4D/5D BIM (time and cost integration) is a plus.
