Mott MacDonald, a leading global engineering and development consultancy, is hiring Assistant Civil BIM Engineers (Civil 3D) across Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Noida. This is an excellent opportunity for Civil Engineers with hands-on BIM and Civil 3D experience to join a world-class infrastructure and water systems team. As part of our Water division, you’ll contribute to sustainable infrastructure design, 3D modelling, and multidisciplinary collaboration for international projects, including UK-based assignments.

Key Responsibilities

As an Assistant Civil BIM Engineer at Mott MacDonald, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Creating surfaces, alignments, longitudinal sections, and detailed drawings using Civil 3D.
  • Modelling gravity and pressure pipe networks and resolving associated complexities.
  • Extracting cut and fill quantity reports, schedules, and detailed outputs.
  • Managing BIM workflows, ensuring adherence to quality control (QC) processes and project documentation standards.
  • Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders for multi-disciplinary design integration.
  • Maintaining accurate surface models using various input file formats.
  • Supporting the issue of design deliverables and managing electronic information efficiently.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to meet project goals and deadlines.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Civil 3D design and modelling.
  • Proven experience with water and wastewater system design.
  • Experience on UK infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulics and hydrological modelling systems.
  • Familiarity with Bentley ProjectWise or Autodesk BIM 360 is a plus.
  • Ability to guide, troubleshoot, and mentor junior team members.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and coordination skills.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive in project execution.

Desirable Skills

  • Proficiency in Vehicle Tracking, Part Builder, and GIS.
  • Understanding of digital design processes and data-driven engineering workflows.
  • Ability to manage multiple deliverables within tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills.
