The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in BIM software, ISO 19650 standards, and digital delivery processes, including 4D, 5D, 6D, and 7D applications. Key Responsibilities
As a BIM Coordinator at Mott MacDonald, you will:
- Lead and coordinate BIM modelling teams across all disciplines.
- Develop and manage BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and Digital Delivery Plans.
- Implement and administer Common Data Environments (CDEs) like Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and ProjectWise.
- Conduct clash detection, issue tracking, and model quality checks using Navisworks, Revizto, ACC Model Coordination, or BIM Collab.
- Ensure adherence to BIM standards including ISO 19650, PAS 1192, BS, Uniclass, and NBIMS.
- Support template creation, content management, and BIM workflow implementation.
- Facilitate project coordination and collaboration among design, engineering, and construction teams.
- Monitor and report project progress using Power BI, Power Apps, or Primavera P6.
- Drive digital innovation and integrate emerging BIM technologies.
- Implement OIR, AIR, and EIR requirements for CDEs and model exchanges.
Skills & Competencies
- Proven experience in multidiscipline BIM coordination.
- Expertise in BIM software and digital delivery tools (Navisworks, Revizto, ACC, BIM Collab).
- Strong knowledge of BIM standards, protocols, and compliance.
- Experience with 4D, 5D, 6D, and 7D BIM applications.
- Ability to develop, manage, and implement BEPs and CDEs.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of project monitoring and reporting using Power BI, Power Apps, or P6.
- Ability to mentor and guide team members in BIM workflows and software.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10–15 years of relevant experience in BIM coordination.
- Formal experience in BIM coordination across multiple disciplines.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering or relevant discipline.
- Hands-on experience with digital delivery, BIM standards, and client portals (Aconex, Asite).
