Key Responsibilities
As an Azure Data Engineer Consultant, you will:
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable solutions using Azure Cloud tools.
- Implement and maintain Azure Data Factory workflows (Functions, LogicApps, IR, Triggers).
- Work with Databricks (pySpark, Scala), Stream Analytics, Event Hub, and HDInsight to process large datasets.
- Build and manage data lakes and cloud-based data warehouses.
- Configure Azure DevOps pipelines (CI/CD) for deployment and data integration.
- Ensure security and compliance by managing authentication, authorization, and data access policies.
- Collaborate with process owners, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to design optimal automation and data flows.
- Maintain documentation, test procedures, and UAT protocols for production solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues while ensuring system reliability and efficiency.
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in Azure Cloud Data Engineering and Data Warehousing.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Event Hub, HDInsight, and Stream Analytics.
- Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases in hybrid cloud environments.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Understanding of data access security, Vault, authentication/authorization protocols.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (B.Tech/B.E.) in any specialization.
- 3–15 years of relevant Azure Data Engineering experience.
- Certifications in Azure Data Engineer, Azure Solutions Architect, or Big Data tools (preferred).
