Key Responsibilities
As an AVP Supervision Framework at Barclays Pune, you will:
- Lead and execute supervision and control activities across trading and operational processes.
- Collaborate with business functions on risk, regulatory, and control compliance, including PRA trading controls.
- Develop and maintain supervisory control frameworks to ensure regulatory adherence and operational efficiency.
- Generate and present management information (MI) reports for senior stakeholders and governance forums.
- Drive global control initiatives to manage operational and conduct risks.
- Provide expert advice on risk identification, mitigation, and quality assurance measures.
- Ensure timely delivery and effectiveness of controls, including end-to-end trading supervision systems.
- Support continuous improvement of internal controls and regulatory compliance processes.
- Engage with global CCO Control Business Partners, Business Management, Supervisors, and key stakeholders for feedback and alignment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Finance or equivalent.
- Proven experience in investment banking, operational risk, or control functions.
- Strong knowledge of three lines of defence and regulatory control frameworks.
- Experience in reporting, governance, and supervisory frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead complex projects.
- Understanding of operational risk assessment, escalation procedures, and risk mitigation.
Highly valued skills: Coordinating cross-functional initiatives, enhancing risk management systems, and experience with control assessment tools and frameworks.
