🔧 Key Responsibilities

• QA & Test Leadership
  • Lead QA/test activities across product features and agile sprints.
  • Define test strategies, risk-based approaches, and execution plans.
• Automation & Framework Development
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites in Java and Python.
  • Build and optimize test automation frameworks integrated into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI).
• API & Functional Testing
  • Conduct API testing for RESTful services using tools such as REST Assured (Java) or Requests (Python).
  • Validate contracts, schemas, and ensure API reliability.
• Defect & Lifecycle Management
  • Manage the defect lifecycle: reproduce, prioritize, assign, and verify fixes.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, stakeholders, and QA teams.
• Non-Functional Testing
  • Contribute to regression, integration, performance, and security testing strategies.
• Reporting & Documentation
  • Maintain test case traceability from requirements to execution.
  • Provide stakeholders with test coverage, pass/fail metrics, and defect density reports.

🎓 Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience:
  • Minimum 4+ years as SDET / QA Automation Engineer.
• Technical Expertise:
  • Strong knowledge of Java and Python for test automation.
  • Hands-on experience in API Testing, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud (AWS) environments.
  • Familiarity with PyTest, unittest, REST Assured, GitLab CI/CD.
• Core Skills:
  • Strong understanding of functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
  • Capability to translate customer requirements into automated test solutions.
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication skills (written & spoken English).
