Key Responsibilities
Data Strategy & Architecture
- Design and implement data governance, data quality, and enterprise data management frameworks.
- Conduct data maturity assessments and advise on tools, processes, and roadmaps.
- Build cloud/on-prem solutions for ELT pipelines, modern data warehouses, and BI layers.
- Handle large-scale data volumes efficiently using latest techniques and tools.
Analytics & Business Intelligence
- Lead buy/sell-side due diligence engagements, identifying analytics-driven value creation opportunities.
- Develop dashboards, visualization tools, and BI reports using PowerBI, Tableau, and advanced GeoSpatial tools.
- Conduct financial and operational data analysis, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Oversee junior colleagues’ technical work and provide coaching/mentorship.
Client Engagement & Delivery
- Engage directly with clients for pre-sales, presentations, and project delivery.
- Communicate effectively across cross-functional teams and global regions.
- Prepare and deliver demo tools and client-ready BI solutions.
- Advise stakeholders on data strategy, analytics, and BI solutions aligned with business needs.
Leadership & Mentorship
- Manage mid to large-scale analytics projects ensuring timely delivery and quality.
- Mentor team members, establish best practices, and contribute to scaling up the Decision Intelligence practice.
- Uphold Kroll’s ethics, policies, and professional standards in all project work.
Skills & Competencies
- Expertise in data engineering, BI, cloud solutions (MS Azure preferred), and analytics frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of data orchestration, ingestion, ELT pipelines, and reporting architecture.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL/NoSQL, and BI visualization tools.
- Familiarity with Merger & Acquisition processes, financial reporting, and value creation analysis.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead teams, mentor colleagues, and manage cross-functional client engagements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and global collaboration capability.
- Flexibility to travel as required for client engagements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Tier-1 preferred); Master’s in Business or related domain is a plus.
- 8–12 years of experience in Data Strategy, Data Engineering, or Business Intelligence.
- 5+ years working with MS Azure services: Data Factory, Data Lake, Synapse, Databricks.
- Hands-on experience in PowerBI, Tableau, Alteryx, or advanced BI/GeoSpatial tools.
- Programming experience in Python, NoSQL, and PL/SQL.
- Familiarity with data-driven decision-making, analytics for M&A, and financial transactions.
