Responsibilities
As an Associate – TMT at Bain New Delhi, your role will include:
- Delivering high-quality research, analysis, and insights for global case teams in telecom, media, and entertainment.
- Managing 1–2 analysts and supporting project leaders with work planning and client interactions.
- Conducting data analysis using Excel, Alteryx, Tableau, and research databases (e.g., Gartner, Thomson Reuters, IDC).
- Preparing clear, professional presentations and reports for case teams and leadership.
- Supporting strategy development for wireline, wireless telecom, cable, satellite, gaming, and media industries.
- Continuously learning and building domain expertise in CME (Communications, Media & Entertainment).
Skills & Qualifications
The ideal candidate for the Associate – TMT role at Bain will have:
- Strong academic background with undergraduate (2–5 years’ experience) OR postgraduate (1–3 years’ experience) in consulting, analytics, or research.
- Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Alteryx and Tableau is an advantage.
- Familiarity with company financial statements and industry data sources (Thomson Reuters, Factiva, Gartner, IDC).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, global consulting environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with a passion for the telecom, media, and entertainment sectors.
