Key Responsibilities
Development & Customization
- Design and develop custom RICEF objects: reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms.
- Develop and maintain ABAP programs including Module Pool, ALV Reports, BDC, BAPI, BADI, and User Exits.
- Create SmartForms, SAPScripts, and Adobe Forms as per business requirements.
Integration & Support
- Work on SAP interfaces using IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, and Web Services.
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot ABAP-related issues.
- Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Performance & Quality
- Optimize ABAP code for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support UAT.
- Ensure adherence to SAP development standards and best practices.
Documentation & Collaboration
- Prepare technical specifications and documentation for all developments.
- Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure project success.
Mandatory Skills
- Hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Knowledge of RICEF objects, SmartForms, SAPScripts, Adobe Forms, and integrations.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, Module Pool, ALV Reports, BADI, and User Exits.
- Familiarity with Operations Consulting, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing processes.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and collaborative skills.
Qualifications
- Education: B.E/B.Tech, MBA, MCA.
- Experience: 2–4 years in SAP ABAP development and customization.
