About EY-Parthenon GDS – TSE Technology
The TSE Technology Team within EY-Parthenon focuses on IT and cybersecurity aspects of M&A transactions, helping clients manage IT risks, integrations, separations, and post-deal transformations.
Your work will directly impact the deal value and operational readiness by designing and executing cybersecurity integration, IT strategy, and compliance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- M&A Cybersecurity Integration & Separation:
- Identify risks and integration/separation challenges across buy-side and sell-side transactions.
- Design and implement cyber integration and separation plans aligned with business goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth IT and cybersecurity transitions.
- Cybersecurity Strategy & Compliance:
- Conduct cyber risk assessments using frameworks like NIST CSF, ISO 27001, GDPR, CCPA.
- Develop post-transaction cyber strategies and target operating models (ToM).
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements across M&A lifecycle.
- Identity & Access Management (IAM):
- Assess and implement IAM solutions during integrations and carve-outs.
- Maintain identity security throughout IT separation or integration processes.
- Cyber Maturity & Data Security:
- Conduct pre- and post-deal cyber maturity assessments.
- Create remediation roadmaps to enhance cybersecurity posture and data protection.
- Detection, Response & Program Management:
- Design detection and incident response capabilities.
- Lead mid-to-large-sized IT and cyber engagements, ensuring timely and quality execution.
- Document lessons learned and implement best practices for future deals.
- Business Development:
- Contribute to RFPs, proposals, and client presentations.
- Support development of cyber solutions and TSE GTM content.

- Expertise in cybersecurity frameworks, IT transaction lifecycle, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience in post-deal lifecycle activities: separation, integration, day-one readiness, TSA costing.
- Proven leadership and team management skills, mentoring high-performing teams.
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, CCSP, CISM, CISA) are highly desirable.
Qualifications
- Postgraduate degree in Business Management from a premier institute.
- 5–8 years of consulting experience in TSE, Cybersecurity Strategy, or Technology Transformation.
- At least 4 years leading IT projects within M&A lifecycle.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, maturity models, and IT integration/separation methodologies.
