Key Responsibilities
- Assist in deal sourcing and investment banking proposals, including pitch preparation and marketing outreach.
- Support deal execution by preparing complex financial models, information memoranda, teasers, valuations (DCF, relative, replacement cost), and investor shortlists.
- Conduct industry and market research, including competitor analysis, transaction comps, and investor identification.
- Prepare responses to investor queries during marketing and due diligence.
- Participate in negotiation discussions on term sheets, deal documentation, and closure.
- Draft engagement letters and assist with internal administrative processes such as invoicing and approvals.
- Attend client and investor meetings to provide advisory support and insights.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Exceptional analytical, financial modeling, and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client engagement abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Prior exposure to investment banking, M&A, or corporate finance advisory.
- Familiarity with deal structures, capital raising, and financial due diligence.
Qualifications
- Education: MBA, Chartered Accountant (CA) Diploma, or equivalent.
- Experience: 1–2 years in investment banking, corporate finance, or deal advisory.
