Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement Informatica PowerCenter workflows, mappings, and transformations.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and define technical solutions.
- Perform data analysis and profiling to ensure accuracy, integrity, and consistency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve ETL and Informatica workflow issues efficiently.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for workflows, mappings, and ETL processes.
- Optimize performance of ETL processes and Informatica workflows.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Stay updated with Informatica best practices, tools, and emerging technologies.
- Work effectively in Agile development environments and contribute to multiple project deliveries.
Required Skills
- Informatica PowerCenter – hands-on experience with workflows, mappings, and transformations.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL design principles.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Informatica Cloud or cloud-based ETL tools.
- Knowledge of Big Data technologies like Hadoop or Spark.
- Familiarity with scheduling tools such as Control-M or Autosys.
- Work experience in Agile project delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 4–7 years of experience as an Informatica Developer or similar role.
- Relevant Informatica certifications are a plus.
