Responsibilities
As an Associate (Front End) – Retail at Bain New Delhi, you will:
- Develop scalable front-end applications and retail-focused digital solutions.
- Design and implement user interfaces with a focus on usability, performance, and scalability.
- Use React.js for front-end and Python-based APIs (FastAPI preferred) for back-end integration.
- Deploy tools in cloud environments (Azure, AWS) using Docker containers.
- Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new features and solution designs.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices.
- Contribute to recruitment, training, and knowledge-sharing within the team.
Skills & Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- 3–5 years of front-end or full-stack development experience.
Technical Skills
- Strong expertise in React.js (mandatory).
- Back-end proficiency with Python (FastAPI preferred).
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, Front-End Design Patterns, and System Design.
- Experience with Web Performance Optimization techniques.
- Hands-on with Git, GitHub, or BitBucket.
- Familiarity with databases: Azure SQL, MySQL, Snowflake, MongoDB, DynamoDB.
- Experience with cloud deployment (Azure, AWS) using Docker.
Good to Have
- Exposure to Node.js, Golang, Angular.js, or Dash.
- Retail industry knowledge (category management, COGS optimization, pricing & promotion analytics, customer analytics).
