Key Responsibilities
As an Associate Engineer – IT at Flex, you will:
- Develop ERP solutions and create specifications for Baan5/Infor LN applications.
- Support developers in translating functional requirements into technical solutions.
- Provide guidance and resolve functional queries during ERP development.
- Conduct testing and documentation of software solutions to ensure proper functionality.
- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and receive User Acceptance Documentation.
- Prepare process documentation for Baan/Infor LN/Integration solutions.
- Advise requestors on system configuration and implement ERP solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve ERP application issues.
- Perform AS-IS & TO-BE analysis for ERP development initiatives.
- Assist with full site implementations, upgrades, pilot testing, data validation, and governance procedures.
- Organize and participate in knowledge-sharing sessions across peers and teams.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong expertise in Infor LN / Baan5 ERP modules: Order Management, Warehousing, Planning, Procurement, Finance.
- Experience in ERP integration testing and middleware solutions.
- Ability to write functional specifications for ERP solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills for ERP anomalies and process issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex technical ideas.
- Self-motivated and eager to continuously learn new technologies.
- Aptitude to understand both business processes and IT solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology or related fields.
- Minimum 5–8 years of ERP experience, including 2–3 years in Baan/Infor LN.
- Knowledge of ERP modules and integration concepts in a manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience with testing, documentation, and troubleshooting ERP solutions.
