Key Responsibilities
As an Associate Director – SIEM, you’ll drive the vision and execution of Deloitte’s cybersecurity programs, focusing on security monitoring, operations, and resilience. Your role will include:
Leadership and Strategy
- Lead Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and Security Operations Center (SOC) functions across global engagements.
- Oversee end-to-end management of security service delivery, ensuring adherence to SLAs and client satisfaction.
- Develop and operationalize multi-million-dollar managed security solutions with a focus on scalability and efficiency.
Solution & Delivery Management
- Design and deploy enterprise-level SIEM architectures for hybrid and cloud environments.
- Manage incident detection, response, and remediation workflows for large-scale client operations.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to integrate DevSecOps and automation frameworks into security processes.
- Ensure security analytics platforms are optimized for real-time monitoring and threat intelligence correlation.
Pre-Sales & Pursuit Management
- Respond to RFI/RFPs, design technical proposals, and create pricing models for security offerings.
- Develop solution design artifacts, proof-of-concept frameworks, and client engagement materials.
- Partner with business development and delivery teams to align solutions with commercial and operational goals.
Client Engagement & Advisory
- Act as a trusted cybersecurity advisor to executive stakeholders.
- Present technical findings, roadmap recommendations, and compliance strategies to client leadership.
- Guide clients through transformation journeys in SIEM optimization, threat hunting, and risk mitigation.
Required Skills and Expertise
- Education: BE/BTech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Experience: 12+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity operations, with proven expertise in SIEM implementation and leadership.
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CCSP (Essential); TOGAF or SABSA (Desirable).
- Technical Competence:
- Advanced knowledge of SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight, Sentinel, etc.)
- Hands-on experience in SOC administration, event correlation, and log management
- Expertise in incident response, cyber threat intelligence, and vulnerability management
- Familiarity with cloud security frameworks and GRC standards (NIST, ISO 27001, PCI DSS)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication with client-facing experience.
Preferred Skills
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, governance, and compliance standards.
- Experience managing large-scale managed security operations.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, and SharePoint for reporting and solution documentation.
- Ability to lead high-performing teams and foster continuous learning.
