Role Overview
As an Associate Director – Risk Management (Cyber Strategy & Transformation), you will lead initiatives that strengthen clients’ cyber resilience, operational efficiency, and compliance posture. You’ll drive DevOps modernization, automation, and secure infrastructure transformation, ensuring that every project aligns with Deloitte’s high standards of excellence and integrity.
You’ll collaborate with cross-functional leaders in development, operations, and cybersecurity to deliver secure, compliant, and scalable solutions while mentoring technical teams and managing client relationships at the executive level.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cyber risk management and DevOps transformation initiatives for global clients.
- Implement and manage Azure DevOps YAML pipelines, ensuring continuous integration and delivery.
- Design and enforce DevSecOps best practices, including Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and compliance frameworks.
- Oversee Kubernetes orchestration, CI/CD automation, and environment configuration.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline deployment and testing processes.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with cloud infrastructure and software delivery pipelines.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and ensure security compliance across environments.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, architectural diagrams, and process workflows.
- Advise on cyber strategy, incident response, and security governance frameworks.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience leading DevOps and Cyber Transformation programs.
- Expertise in Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions for automation pipelines.
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native orchestration.
- Hands-on experience with shell scripting and automation frameworks.
- Deep knowledge of cybersecurity principles, infrastructure security, and cloud compliance.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and client-facing environment.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Familiarity with AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) DevOps tools.
- Understanding of cyber resilience frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls).
- Experience in incident management, security governance, and risk advisory.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or Azure Solutions Architect are a plus.
Qualifications
- Education: B.Tech or equivalent degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in cyber risk management, DevOps, or technology transformation.
- Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, CISSP, or equivalent credentials preferred.
