Key Responsibilities

PMO Leadership & Team Management

• Lead and grow the PMO team, providing mentorship, coaching, and performance guidance.
• Oversee multiple transformation programs, ensuring quality, governance, and timely delivery.
• Conduct resource planning and utilization, aligning talent with project scope.
• Enable organic growth in the team through knowledge sharing and skill development.

Program & Project Management

• Drive strategic initiatives to achieve organizational and business-critical goals.
• Partner with onshore service line leaders to optimize growth capacity and deliver value.
• Manage medium-to-large programs across multiple workstreams, including design, mobilization, execution, and financial management.
• Implement PMO best practices: Agile, Waterfall, Lean project management methodologies.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Attend client meetings, facilitate discussions, and act as a trusted advisor.
• Support proposal development, business development, and market intelligence initiatives.

Quality & Governance

• Ensure all projects adhere to KPMG quality standards and risk policies.
• Monitor and assess value delivered to clients, utilizing PMO planning tools and metrics.
• Implement lessons learned analysis to enhance future project quality.

People Development & Mentorship

• Guide and coach team members, including new hires, ensuring ongoing professional development.
• Plan recruitment and training initiatives for the PMO team.
• Promote a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and excellence.

Qualifications & Skills

Educational Qualifications

• Postgraduate degree from a reputed institute.
• PMP, CAPM, or Prince2 certifications are a plus.

Professional Experience

• 18+ years of PMO or project management experience in consulting, professional services, or IT-enabled services.
• Experience managing large-scale transformation programs in sectors like Retail, FMCG, Energy, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas.
• Proven ability to lead offshore/onshore teams and drive global PMO delivery.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Excel, and PPM tools.
• Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, Lean, governance, reporting, risk, and financial management.

Soft Skills

• Strong executive presence and client-facing communication skills.
• Ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data into actionable insights.
• Exceptional people management, mentoring, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Willingness to travel across locations and work in UK shift hours if required.
