Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee information security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing.
- Manage monitoring and response to security incidents and alerts.
- Collaborate with IT and business units to integrate security measures across operations.
- Maintain and optimize security tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Develop and deliver security awareness programs and trainings for employees.
- Formulate, implement, and maintain comprehensive information security policies and procedures.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and present security reports for senior management and stakeholders.
- Review and respond to client security questionnaires and agreements (MSAs, engagement letters).
- Stay updated on emerging threats, trends, and technologies to advise on strategic security initiatives.
Skills & Competencies
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Strong knowledge of network security, application security, and data protection.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks and industry standards.
- Experience in incident response, forensic analysis, and strategic security planning.
- Proficiency in security tools, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint solutions.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with high confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent preferred.
- 12-15 years of experience in cyber security and information security leadership.
- Experience with client security questionnaires, MSA reviews, and multi-national corporations (MNCs).
