Key Responsibilities

As an Associate Director in Information Security, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Leading regular security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability scans.
  • Monitoring and managing security alerts, ensuring rapid response to threats and incidents.
  • Integrating security protocols across IT infrastructure and business units.
  • Overseeing security tools: firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, SIEM tools, etc.
  • Developing and implementing security awareness programs for employees.
  • Driving policy creation for information security governance and data protection.
  • Conducting risk assessments and presenting mitigation strategies to leadership.
  • Handling client security questionnaires and reviewing security clauses in contracts (e.g., MSAs, engagement letters).
  • Coordinating with legal, IT, and business teams to ensure client alignment with internal cybersecurity policies.

Required Skills & Competencies

To be successful in this Information Security Leadership role, you’ll need:

  • Expertise in cloud security architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Deep knowledge of network security, data protection, and application security.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience in incident response and forensics analysis.
  • Proficiency with cybersecurity tools like SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint security systems.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage sensitive data with discretion.

Preferred Background

  • 12–15 years in Cyber Security, Information Security, or IT Risk Management.
  • Experience handling contractual reviews, client engagements, and global compliance.
  • Prior experience working with multinational companies (MNCs) or large enterprises.
  • Strong leadership track record with ability to influence at senior management level.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Professional certifications preferred:
    • CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
    • CISM (Certified Information Security Manager)
    • CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker)
    • Or equivalent
