Responsibilities
- Oversee the Application Development portfolio, ensuring all projects align with Deloitte’s South Asia MF Asset Development Strategy.
- Lead and mentor project teams to deliver high-quality software solutions on time and within budget.
- Manage project lifecycles from initiation to implementation, including risk management and stakeholder reporting.
- Prioritize development projects to maximize resource utilization across multiple business units.
- Provide technical oversight on enterprise technologies and frameworks (.NET, SQL, Agile methodologies).
- Manage budgets for development services within DEVHUB.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement across IT services.
Required Skills & Expertise
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of .NET Frameworks (MVC, Core, C#), Web API, and database technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Agile projects, Scrum frameworks, and enterprise-grade development.
- Strong understanding of software development principles, application testing, and QA.
Leadership & Management Skills
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a matrix environment.
- Strong communication, delegation, and team motivation skills.
- Expertise in project/program management across multiple locations.
Problem-Solving & Strategic Skills
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
- Skilled in risk management, stakeholder engagement, planning, and forecasting.
- Ability to drive solutions under uncertainty and complex business requirements.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of IT experience with at least 7 years in solution development/architecture.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Studies, or equivalent.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering preferred.
- SAFE Agile 5 / PMP Practitioner certification (or equivalent).
