Key Responsibilities
As an Associate – Data Privacy at PwC, you will:
- Ensure compliance with global and local data privacy regulations including GDPR, CCPA, and the India Data Protection Bill.
- Lead and support privacy assessment and implementation projects across industries.
- Conduct Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs), create data flow diagrams, and identify compliance gaps.
- Design and implement data protection frameworks and privacy-enhancing technologies.
- Work on privacy solutions such as Data Classification, DLP, and eDiscovery tools.
- Apply knowledge of data anonymization, pseudonymization, and encryption techniques to enhance security.
- Provide technical expertise in database protection and privacy controls.
- Collaborate with client stakeholders and present findings to senior management.
- Support the design and execution of privacy risk mitigation strategies aligned with business goals.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong expertise in Data Protection and Privacy Regulations.
- Hands-on experience in privacy implementation projects.
- Ability to work with data protection tools and frameworks.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of data discovery, classification, and encryption tools.
- Familiarity with Big 4 consulting environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
Qualifications
- Required: B.Tech or equivalent degree.
- Preferred: Postgraduate degree (MBA, M.Tech, or related).
