Bain & Company is hiring an Associate – Consumer Products (Analytics, Data & Research) for its New Delhi office.
As an Associate, you’ll work in Bain’s Consumer Products (CP) Center of Expertise, collaborating with global leaders, consultants, and data scientists. You will develop advanced analytics, AI/ML solutions, and business insights that address brand strategy, pricing, revenue growth management, negotiations, and supply chain optimization for leading Consumer Products clients.
This role blends AI/ML engineering, data analytics, and consulting—ideal for professionals passionate about applying Generative AI, LLMs, and data engineering to real-world business problems.

Key Responsibilities
As a Bain Associate in Consumer Products, you will:
- Collaborate with data scientists on Python, NLP, LLMs, and Generative AI applications.
- Develop front-end interfaces (React.js, Angular, Next.js, Streamlit, Dash) for AI/ML applications.
- Build and integrate ML models with back-end APIs using FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
- Translate complex business problems into scalable AI/ML solutions.
- Design ETL pipelines and workflows using DBT, PySpark, and SQL.
- Use Docker and Git for version control, modularity, and deployment.
- Deploy solutions on AWS/Azure cloud infrastructure.
- Contribute to AI/ML Ops platforms for model deployment and monitoring.
- Create dashboards & visualizations (Tableau, Power BI, Plotly, Seaborn).
- Communicate insights via Excel, PowerPoint, and stakeholder presentations.
Skills & Qualifications
✔ Master’s in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related fields (Bachelor’s with 3+ yrs relevant experience also considered).
✔ 2–5 years of experience in AI/ML, data engineering, and consulting analytics.
✔ Strong expertise in Python, Pandas, Numpy, SQL, PySpark, FastAPI, React.js.
✔ Hands-on experience with LLMs, NLP, Generative AI, and model fine-tuning.
✔ Cloud knowledge: AWS, Azure (deployment, scaling, monitoring).
✔ Familiarity with MLOps tools, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines.
✔ Experience with Tableau, Power BI (good-to-have).
✔ Prior exposure to Consumer Products, FMCG, or consulting projects (good-to-have).
