Key Responsibilities
Research & Analysis
- Conduct in-depth company research: business models, revenue streams, M&A history, strategy, and management insights.
- Perform market studies: industry trends, growth drivers, competitive landscape, Porter’s/PESTLE analysis.
- Analyze financials: income statements, balance sheets, cash flows, ratios, and segment performance.
- Benchmark competitors: evaluate operational and financial KPIs, strengths, and weaknesses.
- Assist in thought leadership content development using well-supported research findings.
Client Deliverables
- Prepare client-ready presentations using MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and MS Word.
- Triangulate data from multiple sources to deliver structured, logical, and actionable insights.
- Apply frameworks to simplify complex business problems and provide clear recommendations.
- Assist project leads on client calls and work collaboratively with onshore KPMG teams.
Innovation & Continuous Learning
- Leverage past experience to develop innovative presentation methods and bespoke frameworks.
- Proactively decode scope requirements, ask relevant questions, and provide solutions.
- Ensure adherence to timelines and deliver high-quality outputs under supervision.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in MS Office (Intermediate/Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Strong financial analysis skills, including valuation techniques and interpreting financial statements.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex data.
- Ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data into meaningful insights.
- Analytical mindset with strategic thinking capabilities and attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Postgraduate degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related fields from a reputable university.
- Prior internship or work experience in consulting, financial analysis, or research is a plus.
