Responsibilities
As an Associate – AMS at Bain New Delhi, you will:
- Work on live global client cases in AMS sub-sectors (construction, aviation, logistics, manufacturing, etc.).
- Conduct industry research, market analysis, benchmarking, and survey evaluations.
- Develop Excel models, insights, and reports for strategy development.
- Support Bain consultants on client development, proposals, and business casework.
- Provide thought leadership and occasionally manage smaller cases independently.
- Mentor analysts and review deliverables to ensure quality.
- Contribute to long-term projects (3–12 months) with frequent case team interactions.
- Think creatively to deliver innovative solutions in niche business scenarios.
Skills & Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Educational Background: Graduate or Postgraduate from a top-tier institute (commerce/statistics/analytical courses preferred).
- Experience:
- UG: 2–5 years in consulting, research, or analytics in AMS.
- PG: 0–3 years in consulting, research, or analytics in AMS.
- Prior AMS sector exposure is mandatory.
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to make business judgments even with limited data.
- Excellent storylining and presentation skills.
- Team collaboration and client-facing communication skills.
- Willingness for occasional travel for client or office engagements.
