Key Responsibilities
As an Associate 1 – Audit & Accounting, you will:
- Demonstrate foundational accounting and auditing knowledge in line with KPMG standards.
- Understand and perform audit procedures as part of GDC’s US engagement teams.
- Utilize audit tools and documentation platforms such as eAudIT, IDEA, WISDOM, CASEWARE, and MS Office.
- Ensure timely and high-quality completion of assigned audit tasks.
- Communicate effectively with onshore and offshore audit teams to ensure clarity and consistency.
- Participate in team discussions, training programs, and firm-wide initiatives.
- Maintain work quality and chargeability as per annual targets.
- Take ownership of your professional development through continuous learning.
Technical & Functional Skills
- Solid understanding of audit and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (especially Excel).
- Excellent English communication skills – written and verbal.
- Familiarity with audit documentation and reporting processes.
