Key Responsibilities
- Develop safe and efficient structural solutions with minimal supervision, including calculations and structural analysis.
- Collaborate with CAD and Revit technicians to deliver all project work accurately and on time.
- Perform self-checking of design outputs and ensure coordination with other engineering disciplines.
- Assist in developing and executing designs, ensuring projects meet agreed schedules.
- Ensure all design work adheres to Mott MacDonald’s quality standards and international codes.
- Contribute to projects following UK standards and Eurocodes, with exposure to international best practices.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential
- Postgraduate or Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering.
- 3–5 years of experience in structural design for concrete and steel buildings.
- Proficient in design software: Robot, Etabs, Safe, Bluebeam.
- Knowledge of international design standards and codes, including Eurocodes.
- Experience in design breakdowns, calculations, and structural analysis for building projects.
Desirable
- Experience working on UK projects or other international projects.
- Expertise in Revit Structure and BIM workflows.
- Strong understanding of building systems, load analysis, and structural safety.
