Key Responsibilities
As an Assistant Manager in Cyber Strategy & Transformation, your core duties will include:
- Conduct comprehensive IT General Controls (ITGC) testing and risk assessments, focusing on access management, change management, backup & recovery, and operational controls.
- Perform control design and effectiveness testing for internal audits and ensure ISO 27001 certification readiness.
- Support ISO 27001 implementation, maintenance, and internal audit activities, including developing and reviewing risk treatment plans and the Statement of Applicability (SoA).
- Evaluate IT and cybersecurity risks using structured risk assessment methodologies, collaborating with stakeholders to create mitigation strategies.
- Review and test controls to ensure compliance with industry and regulatory frameworks such as NIST, COBIT, GDPR, RBI, SEBI, and CERT-IN.
- Work closely with InfoSec, Compliance, and IT Operations teams to drive remediation efforts and continuous process improvements.
- Utilize Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) tools such as ServiceNow and Archer for control monitoring and reporting.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cyber compliance regulations and industry best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 institution.
- 1 to 7 years of experience in Cyber Risk Controls, ITGC testing, and ISO 27001 compliance.
- Relevant certifications such as ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer, CISA, ITIL, or equivalent.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to stakeholders.
- Proficiency in cybersecurity frameworks and regulatory compliance.
- Hands-on experience with GRC tools (ServiceNow, Archer) is a significant advantage.
- Ability to manage client engagements, deliver high-quality results, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel frequently to client locations as part of the job.
