Key Responsibilities

Collections & Recovery Management

  • Achieve regional collection targets, including PL Rollback and PSBL collection goals
  • Minimize cost of collections and reduce delinquency with a focus on write-off control
  • Execute recovery strategies using legal tools such as Section 138 Notices, Arbitration Summons, and Warrants

Legal & Audit Compliance

  • Coordinate closely with legal teams to enforce court-related actions
  • Ensure prompt and accurate documentation of feedback and legal procedures
  • Address and resolve audit queries to maintain regulatory compliance

Team & Vendor Management

  • Ensure adequate field force availability across regions, buckets, and segments
  • Set and monitor productivity benchmarks for Collection Officers, DMAs, and agencies
  • Conduct weekly performance reviews and provide continuous coaching and support

Training & Development

  • Identify training needs and support ongoing skill development for Collection Executives
  • Perform background verification of new agencies and conduct regular evaluations
  • Champion performance programs like CHAMPION CHAMPION to boost field efficiency

Customer Engagement & Escalations

  • Personally visit random customers to monitor ground-level activities and service quality
  • Assist field staff with complex cases, police coordination, and legal escalations

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Educational Qualification: MBA (3+ years of experience) or Graduate (7–8 years experience)
  • People Management: Ability to lead and develop teams effectively
  • Communication & Negotiation: Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Result-Orientation: Proven track record of driving outcomes under pressure
  • Tech Savvy: Working knowledge of computers and productivity software
