Key Responsibilities

Collections & Portfolio Management

  • Achieve monthly and annual collections targets by visiting customers and coordinating with collection agencies.
  • Monitor collection performance against set parameters, ensuring timely updates and reporting.
  • Develop and implement effective debt collection strategies to optimize recovery rates.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions, transactions, and collection activities.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure all collections adhere strictly to legal guidelines and company policies during repossession and recovery.
  • Manage daily risk reports (DRR) and address portfolio risks proactively.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.

Reporting & Vendor Management

  • Prepare and present regular MIS reports and dashboards related to collection activities and performance metrics.
  • Handle escalations promptly and resolve customer issues effectively.
  • Manage vendor and agency relationships to maximize collection efficiency and compliance.

Cross-functional Coordination & Leadership

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including credit, operations, risk, and compliance teams to streamline processes.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to collection staff and external partners.
  • Support training and development initiatives within the collection team.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Freshers or candidates with up to 2 years of experience in debt collection, account management, or related fields preferred.
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards in debt recovery.
  • Proficient in reporting tools, MIS creation, and dashboard management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented with a customer-centric approach.
