🔐 Key Responsibilities
As an Assistant Manager – Product Security & VAPT, you will:
- Conduct Web Application Security Testing, Infrastructure VAPT, and API security testing
- Perform Mobile Application Security Testing on iOS and Android platforms
- Execute configuration reviews of OS (Windows, Linux, UNIX, Solaris) and databases
- Utilize tools such as Nessus, Qualys Guard, Acunetix, Nmap, and Metasploit
- Perform firewall and network device configuration reviews
- Implement endpoint security controls, threat profiling, and vulnerability management
- Create detailed assessment reports and remediation strategies
- Collaborate with internal teams and present findings to clients
- Work with industry-standard frameworks like OWASP, CIS, NIST, ISO/IEC 17799
🛠️ Must-Have Skills
To succeed in this Cybersecurity Assistant Manager role, you must have:
- 4–6 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, VAPT, or penetration testing
- Solid understanding of network protocols, TCP/IP, and enterprise architecture
- Proficiency in security tools: Kali Linux, Nessus, Nmap, AppScan, Acunetix, Qualys, Metasploit
- Scripting knowledge in Python, Shell, or PERL
- Familiarity with firewalls, IDS/IPS, routers, switches, and VPN configurations
- Working knowledge of SSL, IPSEC, SSH, FTP, etc.
✨ Additional Skills (Good to Have)
- Experience in Threat Intelligence, Cyber Operations, or Malware Analysis
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
- Experience with DevSecOps, firewall reviews, and endpoint threat analysis
- Exposure to frameworks like NIST, OWASP, CIS
- Ability to adapt quickly to emerging tools and tech
- Confidence in client interactions and team collaboration
🎓 Education & Qualifications
- Full-time B.Tech / BE / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Industry certifications (e.g., CEH, OSCP, CISSP) are a plus
