Deloitte India is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager – Cybersecurity professional specializing in Privileged Identity Management (PIM), SIEM, and SOAR automation to join our Bengaluru (MG Road) office. About the Role

As an Assistant Manager in Deloitte’s Cybersecurity team, you will lead the development and optimization of SIEM use cases, SOAR automation workflows, and PIM security operations. You will collaborate with SOC analysts, IT teams, and stakeholders to ensure security measures are robust, scalable, and aligned with organizational risk management strategies.

Key Responsibilities

SIEM (Security Information & Event Management)

• Design, implement, and test SIEM use cases to detect specific security threats.
• Optimize use cases to reduce false positives and enhance detection accuracy.
• Develop correlation rules, parsers, and connectors for effective log analysis.
• Maintain detailed documentation for SIEM workflows, alerts, and tuning procedures.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to implement new SIEM features and troubleshoot issues.

SOAR (Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response)

• Design and implement automated incident response workflows and playbooks.
• Write scripts using Python, PowerShell, or JavaScript for automation tasks.
• Integrate SIEM, EDR, ITSM (ServiceNow), firewalls, and threat intelligence platforms with SOAR.
• Continuously optimize automated workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Monitor performance and maintain documentation of SOAR automation workflows.

Privileged Identity Management (PIM)

• Implement and maintain PIM policies and procedures using tools like Arcon.
• Ensure access control, privilege monitoring, and compliance reporting for critical systems.

Collaboration & Reporting

• Work with SOC teams, incident responders, and IT stakeholders to tailor use cases and automation.
• Generate reports on use case performance, incident response, and automation effectiveness.
• Innovate new approaches for cybersecurity threat detection and response.

Skills & Experience Required

• 4–6 years of experience in SOC operations, SIEM, SOAR, or PIM.
• Hands-on experience with SPLUNK, Palo Alto SOAR, or equivalent SIEM/SOAR platforms.
• Proficient in Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, and scripting for automation.
• Experience in integrating security tools via REST APIs.
• Knowledge of MITRE TTPs and translating them into detection use cases.
• OEM certifications in relevant tools are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• B.E / B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, or related field (Tier 1/2 institutes preferred).
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Hands-on experience with Arcon or similar PIM solutions.
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality security operations solutions in enterprise environments.

Location & Work Model

• Base Location: Bengaluru, MG Road
• Work Mode: Office-based; professional presence required.
• Travel: Minimal, based on client needs.
