Responsibilities
As an Assistant Manager – Business Valuations at EY Noida, your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting valuations, modelling, and pricing of MIP securities (Sweet Equity, Growth Shares, Stock Options).
- Collecting and analyzing financial market data and time-series information.
- Reviewing and validating complex quantitative valuation models including fund-flow and ratchet schemes.
- Preparing valuation reports and presentations for PE-backed, VC-backed, and multinational clients.
- Assisting senior consultants with analytics while meeting deadlines and project budgets.
- Collaborating with teams across Strategy and Transactions (SaT) for cross-functional projects.
Skills & Attributes for Success
- Proven expertise in valuations – business valuations, MIP, and illiquid securities.
- Knowledge of valuation methods such as PWERM and OPM.
- Strong financial modelling and advanced numeracy skills.
- Deep understanding of capital structures for PE/VC-backed companies.
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, transaction-driven environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to train and mentor junior team members.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certifications: ACA, ACCA, CFA, or MBA/Master’s in Finance.
- Prior experience in Big 4 firms or professional services.
- Exposure to derivatives valuation and Monte Carlo simulation techniques.
- Familiarity with international financial reporting and tax standards.
- Language proficiency beyond English is a plus.
