Key Responsibilities
As an Assistant Manager – Business Valuations, you will:
- Develop, review, and validate complex valuation models for diverse companies and industries.
- Support mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, restructuring, and portfolio valuations.
- Perform purchase price allocation and goodwill/intangible impairment testing in compliance with accounting standards (IFRS).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to analyze financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing guidance on technical and project matters.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables ensuring high-quality output.
- Prepare and present valuation reports and analyses aligned with regulatory, tax, and financial reporting requirements.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have:
- Professional designation: CA, CPA, CFA, or MBA (Finance/Accounting).
- 3+ years of relevant valuation, financial modeling, or transaction advisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of financial and valuation principles, corporate finance, and accounting standards.
- Advanced MS Excel skills and proficiency with valuation/research databases (CapitalIQ, Bloomberg, Factiva, Thomson).
- Excellent analytical, project management, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
Preferred:
- Experience with Big 4 firms, investment banks, or leading valuation support centers.
- Expertise in complex valuation scenarios such as overseas swaps, M&A, and restructuring.
- Strong communication and client relationship management capabilities.

- Base location: Mumbai
