🧾 Key Responsibilities

As an Assistant Manager in Business Valuations, your role will include:

• Developing and reviewing complex valuation models across diverse industries.
• Supporting valuation assignments related to mergers, acquisitions, restructuring, divestitures, and dispute valuations.
• Collaborating with client teams and Deloitte professionals to analyze issues and recommend valuation solutions.
• Preparing and managing project budgets, timelines, and delivery schedules.
• Supervising and mentoring junior team members, ensuring high-quality work output.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships through regular communication.
• Applying sound knowledge of financial and accounting standards (IFRS) in valuation exercises.
• Utilizing advanced research databases such as CapitalIQ, Bloomberg, and Thomson Reuters to support valuations.

🛠 Skills & Competencies

• Expertise in business valuation techniques and financial modeling.
• Deep understanding of purchase price allocation (PPA) and goodwill impairment testing as per IFRS.
• Proficient in advanced MS Excel, including modeling and data analysis.
• Familiarity with financial research platforms like CapitalIQ, Factiva, and Bloomberg.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and team leadership abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and deliver results under tight deadlines.

🎓 Qualifications

• Professional designation such as Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), MBA, or CFA.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in valuation advisory, financial modeling, or a related field.
• Previous experience with a Big 4 accounting firm, investment bank, or financial advisory firm is highly preferred.
• Sound knowledge of financial reporting frameworks, regulatory standards, and accounting principles.
• Fluency in written and verbal English.
