Key Responsibilities

🔐 Cybersecurity Project Delivery

  • Conduct Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA) for vehicles and electronic control units (ECUs)
  • Define and implement cybersecurity frameworks based on automotive standards like ISO 21434, R155, and SAE J3061
  • Ensure compliance with emerging Software-Defined Vehicle (SDV) cybersecurity regulations
  • Create cybersecurity work products, including security concepts, requirement specifications, and threat modeling documentation
  • Collaborate with OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers to design secure-by-design vehicle systems

🛡️ Security Governance & Strategy

  • Guide teams in developing security architectures aligned with automotive cybersecurity regulations
  • Help organizations embed cyber risk mitigation into their business and product strategies
  • Advocate secure software development practices in embedded systems and automotive applications

💼 Client Interaction & Reporting

  • Translate complex technical concepts into business-relevant insights for stakeholders
  • Develop cybersecurity proposals, frameworks, and training modules tailored to client needs
  • Represent Deloitte’s cyber capabilities in industry forums, engagements, and regulatory audits

Required Skills & Qualifications

🎓 Educational Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Information Security, or a related field

✅ Professional Experience

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity (preferably in automotive sector)
  • In-depth knowledge of ISO 21434, ISO 27001, R155, and SAE J3061
  • Practical exposure to vehicle systems architecture and ECU security concepts

🛠️ Technical & Soft Skills

  • Familiarity with secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC) practices
  • Excellent documentation and reporting skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication, especially for non-technical stakeholders
