Responsibilities
- Invoice Processing: Process invoices according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) while meeting targets and deadlines.
- Discrepancy Resolution: Address and resolve any discrepancies or issues identified in invoices as per SOPs.
- Reporting & Updates: Generate and update Accounts Payable (AP) reports for management review and tracking.
- Rectification Entries: Pass necessary rectification entries for any errors identified by the internal quality control (QC) team.
- Payment Processing: Select invoices for payment and release them in line with SOPs, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Vendor Master Management: Create and update vendor master records following SOPs to ensure data integrity.
- Process Improvement: Suggest innovative ideas to enhance and streamline the AP process for greater efficiency.
Skills & Qualifications
Required Skills
- Education: B.Com, BBA (Finance), M.Com, or MBA (Finance).
- Experience: 0-1 year of experience in accounting or accounts payable (AP) domain.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
- Accounting Knowledge: A strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Communication: Good written and oral communication skills in English.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities to identify discrepancies and resolve issues effectively.
- Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
