📋 Key Responsibilities
As a Technical Specialist – Patch Management, your responsibilities will include:
- 🔄 Patch My PC Expert
Utilize Patch My PC to schedule, automate, and silently install updates for third-party apps and Microsoft Windows. - 🛠️ SCCM Administration
Manage and administer System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) to ensure patch deployment and version control. - 💡 Lifecycle Management
Ensure all endpoints and client systems are compliant with security and usability standards throughout their lifecycle. - 🔐 Security & Compliance
Proactively patch vulnerabilities and maintain device health through robust update policies. - 🚀 Intune & Autopilot (Bonus)
Work with Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot for modern device provisioning and cloud-native patch management. - 📞 Incident Response & RCA
Handle escalated incidents, perform root cause analysis, and ensure SLAs are met. - 📚 Knowledge Sharing & Coaching
Update internal knowledge bases, coach junior analysts, and contribute to training initiatives. - 🌟 Customer Satisfaction
Deliver exceptional user experience through First Call Resolution (FCR) and minimal rework or reopened tickets.
🧠 Required Skills
✅ Core Skills
- Strong experience with Patch My PC for automated patching.
- Proficient in SCCM administration and Windows update management.
- Experience in third-party application patching.
- Working knowledge of client lifecycle management.
➕ Preferred/Bonus Skills
- Familiarity with Intune and Autopilot for modern device management.
- Knowledge of underlying Windows system health and endpoint security.
- Ability to manage systems across on-premise and cloud environments.
🎓 Qualifications
- 🎓 Educational Background:
B-Tech in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent technical field. - 🏅 Preferred Certifications:
- Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
- SCCM/Intune Specialist Certifications
