🎯 Responsibilities

• Review and interpret complex technical requirements and translate them into detailed engineering deliverables.
• Lead the engineering and design of instrumentation systems for multidisciplinary project packages.
• Act as document checker and reviewer for technical documents assigned by project leads.
• Conduct vendor document reviews for assigned items pre- and post-order.
• Coordinate and lead squad checks and interdisciplinary engineering reviews.
• Liaise with cross-functional teams to identify required inputs and technical dependencies.
• Provide comprehensive engineering inputs for the creation of construction drawings.
• Ensure compliance with internal QMS, departmental quality documents (QDs), and work instructions.

🧠 Key Skills & Competencies

✅ Must-Have Skills:

• Expertise in Instrumentation and Control Systems Engineering.
• Proficiency in SmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI) and related tools.
• Strong experience with vendor interaction and coordination.
• Capable of managing estimation engineering with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, collaborative mindset.

💡 Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Knowledge of HAZOP and SIL study requirements.
• Experience coordinating E&I interfaces with Electrical and P&I interfaces with Process teams.
• Leadership in multidisciplinary teams on large-scale projects.

🎓 Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BE) or Technology (BTech) – preferably in Instrumentation or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience in onshore oil & gas, petrochemical, or energy projects.
