🧭 Key Responsibilities
🛢️ Drilling Operations & Well Completion
- Oversee execution of drilling operations ensuring safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
- Drive optimal well delivery and completion through strong technical knowledge.
🚛 Logistics & Rig Support
- Coordinate logistical needs across materials, equipment, and third-party services.
- Ensure timely availability of resources for uninterrupted rig operations.
👥 Crew Leadership & Development
- Lead and supervise drilling crews, rig personnel, and subcontractors.
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
📋 Quality Assurance & HSE Compliance
- Enforce Arabian Drilling Company’s HSE policies and procedures.
- Conduct audits, risk assessments, and lead incident investigations where needed.
🤝 Client Relations & Business Continuity
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients and partners.
- Represent the rig team in client meetings, ensuring alignment on performance expectations.
🧩 Rig Oversight & Asset Management
- Ensure all rig equipment is maintained and utilized to the highest standards.
- Monitor rig KPIs and implement cost-effective measures to enhance profitability.
🧠 Required Skills & Qualifications
✅ Education & Certification
- High School diploma required
- Technical Diploma or Degree in Drilling Technology
- Valid IWCF or IADC Well Control Certificate (Supervisor Level)
- Additional recognized drilling certifications preferred
✅ Experience
- 12+ years of oilfield experience, with at least 5 years in leadership roles
- Background managing both onshore and offshore rigs a strong advantage
- Experience optimizing drilling operations while reducing NPT and cost
✅ Leadership & Technical Skills
- Proven team leader capable of managing cross-functional rig teams
- Strong decision-making skills under pressure
- Advanced understanding of HSE standards, drilling systems, and rig technology
