πΌ Key Responsibilities
As a Cybersecurity Incident Response Deputy Manager, you will:
- Detect, analyze, investigate, and report security incidents in line with SLAs
- Perform advanced log and forensic analysis (network, host-based, malware, etc.)
- Lead containment and remediation strategies for complex security incidents
- Collaborate with SOC teams and security analysts to enhance detection capabilities
- Use tools such as QRadar, Sentinel, SOAR (Phantom, Cortex), and EDR solutions
- Escalate atypical cases and provide executive-level incident reports and dashboards
- Execute tabletop simulations and real-world response scenarios
- Create and maintain IR runbooks, playbooks, and forensic documentation
- Monitor unhealthy data sources and coordinate with engineering for fixes
- Analyze cyberattack trends to continuously optimize incident detection
π Required Skills
- Proven expertise in incident response, digital forensics, and cyber defense operations
- Deep knowledge of network and system security (Windows, Linux, AD, DNS)
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (QRadar, Sentinel) and SOAR platforms
- Experience with ITSM systems, collaboration tools, and security logs
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Effective communicator with structured reporting and presentation skills
- Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, Cyber Kill Chain, and advanced threat techniques
- Experience in evidence handling, data acquisition, and malware analysis

- Bachelorβs or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related fields
- Industry-recognized certifications (preferred):
- ECIH v2
- CHFI
- GCIH or GCIA
