🎯 Key Responsibilities
As a Material Logistics Optimization Lead at QatarEnergy, you will:
- Lead supply chain improvement projects within Asset Integrity and Maintenance scopes.
- Manage project scopes, contractor tenders, and issue purchase orders aligned with QatarEnergy and Shell standards.
- Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and supplier compliance across procurement and logistics activities.
- Drive efficiency in supply chain processes, ensuring high technical and operational integrity.
- Support the Asset Integrity and Maintenance Managers in ensuring project alignment with organizational goals.
- Analyze risk, monitor KPIs, and implement metrics-driven performance improvements.
- Coordinate closely with external contractors, vendors, and QatarEnergy’s internal stakeholders.
🛠️ Required Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, candidates should have:
- Minimum 20 years of industry experience, with at least 10 years in supply chain–related work.
- Strong background in supply chain strategy, maintenance, and project delivery within oil & gas or energy sectors.
- Proven ability in contract development, negotiations, and resolving disputes with suppliers and vendors.
- Experience in operational troubleshooting and process risk management.
- Familiarity with QatarEnergy’s business processes, international standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Leadership and interpersonal skills to guide multi-disciplinary teams and foster cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to measure, monitor, and improve supply chain performance using data and KPIs.
🎓 Educational & Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
