🛠️ Key Responsibilities

As a Mainframe Consultant in the Technology & Transformation (T&T) team, your responsibilities include:

• Designing, developing, and deploying scalable mainframe-based and cloud-integrated solutions.
• Automating business processes using advanced DevOps tools and scripting languages.
• Managing AWS infrastructure components: EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, etc.
• Implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK.
• Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, or Jenkins.
• Ensuring cloud security via IAM policies, encryption, and secure configurations.
• Monitoring performance and optimizing infrastructure reliability and scalability.
• Supporting containerization using Docker, Kubernetes, or AWS ECS/EKS.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams across development, operations, and security.

🎯 Key Skills Required

• Proficiency in mainframe engineering and legacy system modernization.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud components.
• Expertise in CI/CD automation tools and pipeline design.
• Scripting knowledge: Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Strong understanding of cloud security practices and disaster recovery.
• Exposure to DevOps and container orchestration platforms.

🎓 Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3–7 years of relevant experience in mainframe systems, cloud infrastructure, or DevOps engineering.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to manage change and deliver complex IT solutions.
• Certification in AWS, DevOps, or Mainframe technologies is a plus.
