β Key Responsibilities
As a Safety Analyst at QatarEnergy, your responsibilities will include:
- Executing all activities related to HSE performance monitoring and reporting across Ras Laffan Industrial City.
- Ensuring compliance with QatarEnergy HSE policies, procedures, and strategic business objectives.
- Collaborating with internal teams, division heads, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in Corporate HSE and Industrial Cities departments.
- Driving safety excellence programs, gap analysis, and mitigation plans.
- Preparing performance metrics, dashboards, and detailed reports for senior management.
- Supporting audits, inspections, and compliance reviews for HSSE mandates.
- Analyzing incident data, trends, and proposing preventive measures.

- Strong knowledge of HSE systems, industry standards, and performance frameworks.
- High proficiency in data analysis tools, reporting systems, and KPI management.
- Advanced report writing and analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to work within a multicultural and high-paced industrial environment.
π Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related technical discipline.
- Additional postgraduate business qualification is an advantage.
- Recognized international HSE certification (e.g., NEBOSH IGC, Certified Safety Professional – CSP) preferred.
- Experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, or large industrial sectors is required.
