πΌ Key Responsibilities
π Regulatory Surveillance & Intelligence
- Monitor evolving Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) product regulations.
- Track global regulatory developments through official databases and communication channels.
- Maintain up-to-date regulatory logs and documentation.
β Compliance Enablement
- Support business units in understanding regulatory impacts and product classification updates.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with local and international frameworks.
- Assist in interpreting chemical management laws, labeling, and safety classifications.
π Product Safety Documentation
- Finalize and customize Safety Data Sheets (SDS) to comply with local and global standards.
- Process Product Management of Change (PMOC) requests.
- Handle product registrations in national databases and conduct REACH-related documentation.
π§ͺ Reporting & Stakeholder Communication
- Manage GHS reporting, poison center updates, and regulatory compliance submissions.
- Interface with internal teams and external customers to provide timely, accurate compliance data.
- Administer and track queries via the Salesforce Compliance Portal.
π Database & System Management
- Maintain internal systems for regulatory agreements, registrations, and documentation.
- Initiate corrective actions for SDS distribution discrepancies.
β Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelorβs or MSc in Toxicology, Microbiology, or a related life science field.
- Minimum 3 years of industry experience in product safety or regulatory affairs.
- Strong knowledge of chemical classification and transportation regulations.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to handle global stakeholders.
- Proficient in interpreting GHS, REACH, and national regulatory guidelines.
β Preferred Experience
- Prior experience in a global chemical, petrochemical, or life sciences company.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce, regulatory databases, and volume reporting tools.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
