🎯 Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Consultant – Payments PM/BA, your work will directly influence the digital modernization of transaction systems:
🔹 Business Analysis & Delivery
- Analyze and document business requirements (BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process maps)
- Design innovative operating models and digital payment solutions for financial institutions
- Lead payment-related transformation projects, ensuring seamless change adoption
🔹 Payments Domain Expertise
- Work on multiple payment types such as SWIFT, SEPA, RTGS, IMPS, NEFT, CHAPS, NACHA
- Provide support across payment life cycles, from initiation to reconciliation
- Engage in system testing (SIT, UAT) and defect triaging within banking ecosystems
🔹 Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with senior business leaders, technology teams, and compliance officers
- Translate complex technical needs into clear, actionable strategies
🔹 Documentation & Agile Delivery
- Create end-to-end documentation (BDD user stories, solution outlines, flow diagrams)
- Manage requirement lifecycle and traceability using Agile methodologies
✅ Required Skills & Expertise
To be successful in this role, you should bring:
- 5+ years of experience in project management/business analysis in payments or banking
- In-depth knowledge of the end-to-end payments lifecycle (initiation to settlement)
- Familiarity with major payments systems and platforms (Finastra, FIS, IBM, SWIFT, etc.)
- Hands-on experience creating BRDs, FRDs, IRDs, and Agile user stories
- Understanding of related domains like lending, core banking, cards, trade finance is a plus
- Proficiency in stakeholder communication, risk identification, and Agile practices
- Business fluency in English (spoken & written)
🎓 Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Technology, or related field
- Certification in Business Analysis, Agile, or Project Management (PMP/Prince2) is a plus
- Experience in financial services consulting or transformation programs in global banks
