π― Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Analyst β Global ETD at Shell, you will:
- Build and maintain Alteryx workflows for automating data transformation and reporting
- Develop advanced Excel Macros and VBA scripts to replace repetitive manual tasks
- Design and maintain functional mappings for ETD and OTC derivatives
- Use Power BI to build dynamic dashboards and reports
- Ensure data consistency across various systems and platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process enhancements
- Conduct UAT and validate automated solutions before deployment
- Document workflows, reporting logic, and mapping schemas clearly and thoroughly
- Train internal teams on using automated workflows and reporting tools
- Identify automation opportunities and contribute to defining future-state architecture
π§ Required Skills & Tools
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- 4+ years of experience in finance, functional analysis, or derivatives operations
- Strong hands-on experience with Alteryx Designer, Excel VBA, and Power BI
- Experience working with third-party platforms (e.g., trade processing or reconciliation tools)
- Understanding of ETD and OTC derivatives products
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills

- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or related discipline
- Alteryx Certification (Core/Advanced)
- Exposure to SQL, Python, or other scripting languages
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and product lifecycle management
