🛠️ Key Responsibilities
As a Welding and Forming Junior Engineer, you will:
- Perform welding of tubes, manifolds, and sheet metal parts using TIG and Orbital welding
- Operate hydraulic and mechanical presses (Hydroform preferred)
- Handle Inconel and stainless steel welding, including repair of defective castings
- Assemble welded components and conduct quality checks per SOP and technical drawings
- Interpret 2D drawings and GD&T specifications
- Ensure compliance with EHS, quality systems, and safety protocols
- Meet shift output targets while maintaining high product integrity
- Use welding accessories: positioners, rollers, bevellers, 3D welding tables, etc.
📚 Required Skills & Experience
- Diploma in Engineering or related field
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in welding/fabrication in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to weld aerospace-grade materials such as SS 321 and Inconel 625
- Certified in AWS D17.1 (6G position, II A & III B materials)
- Skilled in operating forming machines, interpreting SOPs, MOS, and engineering drawings
- Familiar with safety standards and shop-floor manufacturing practices
- Willing to work in a shift-based schedule

- Experience in aerospace fabrication of air manifolds and sheet metal components
