🔧 Key Responsibilities
As a Production & Materials Management Solution Architect at Shell, you will:
🌍 Strategy & Solution Design
- Collaborate with global architecture teams to drive alignment between local execution and strategic goals
- Develop and optimize supply chain processes including materials management, product lifecycle, base oil, and production planning
- Serve as a subject matter expert for supply chain tools and systems
🛠️ Technical Expertise & Process Enablement
- Drive system stability, process compliance, and continuous improvement
- Support change management efforts, IT tool upgrades, and implementation of new business capabilities
- Own process and system design across product lifecycle and portfolio management
👥 Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with regional business teams, super users, and global centers of excellence
- Lead solution adoption through training and knowledge transfer
- Ensure supply chain architecture supports Shell’s business transformation and operational excellence
✅ Required Skills & Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA
- Deep knowledge of SAP supply chain modules and integrated tools
- Expertise in end-to-end supply chain processes: production planning, material management, logistics, and plant operations
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and solution-building mindset
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Flexibility to support U.S. time zones (Houston), with shift allowance provided
🎓 Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience supporting supply chain architecture in energy, manufacturing, or FMCG industries
- Background in implementing process automation or digital transformation initiatives
- Experience working in cross-functional and global delivery teams
