L&T Precision Engineering & Systems IC is seeking an experienced Head – Central Administrative Services to lead the full spectrum of administration, facilities management, security, estate maintenance, and EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) operations at its Kattupalli Shipyard. This is a senior-level leadership role ideal for professionals with 20–25 years of experience, preferably in large-scale shipyard, marine, infrastructure, or industrial projects. As the Head of Central Admin Services, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring safety, operational efficiency, and compliance across one of India’s most advanced shipyard infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities

🏗️ Shipyard Administration & Infrastructure Oversight

• Lead all central administration functions across the Kattupalli Shipyard including estate maintenance, infrastructure, and utilities management.
• Oversee high-priority infrastructure projects like CPCL relocation and housing colony development.

⚠️ Environment, Health & Safety (EHS)

• Ensure full compliance with environmental regulations, OHSAS, ISO standards, and safety mandates.
• Implement safety systems, conduct audits, and liaise with regulatory bodies for approvals and inspections.

👨‍⚕️ Occupational Health & Risk Management

• Develop and monitor occupational health programs, conduct medical risk assessments, and ensure workplace safety.
• Minimize downtime through proactive safety initiatives and accident prevention protocols.

🔐 Security & Asset Protection

• Oversee shipyard security strategy for protecting men, material, and physical assets.
• Ensure smooth coordination with security teams and external agencies for effective risk mitigation.

📊 Project Management & Compliance

• Manage budgets, timelines, and resources to deliver administrative and EHS projects on schedule.
• Stay updated with evolving statutory and legal compliance requirements; advise management on critical amendments.

👥 Leadership & Team Development

• Lead and mentor a multi-disciplinary team across admin, security, health, and facility domains.
• Conduct training programs to build awareness in fire safety, environmental practices, and regulatory compliance.

Skills & Competencies

✅ Must-Have Skills

• In-depth knowledge of administration in shipyards or heavy industries
• Strong command over EHS, statutory compliance, ISO/OHSAS standards
• Experience handling estate management, capital assets, and security operations
• Excellent leadership, project management, and stakeholder communication skills

💻 Tools & Technologies

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, ERP systems, and compliance tools
• Exposure to facility management software and incident tracking platforms

Qualifications

• Education:
  • B.Tech + M.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Naval Architecture, or related fields
    (PG in Safety or Facilities Management is a plus)
• Experience:
  • 20–25 years in administration, safety, or facilities, with at least 5–10 years in a shipyard or industrial infrastructure project
