🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical lead and interface between GE engineering teams, airline customers, and MRO shops for GE90 and GP7200 Mechanical Systems (MS) modules.
• Own and maintain Instruction for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) documents for assigned hardware ATA chapters.
• Author service bulletins and provide timely, expert responses to technical inquiries, including Aircraft on Ground (AOG) priority issues.
• Develop and implement effective field containment and repair solutions for in-service mechanical system problems.
• Lead technical investigations and coordinate cross-functional teams to resolve critical field issues and improve time on wing (TOW) performance.
• Manage documentation and ensure compliance with internal engineering standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support Customized Service Agreements (CSA) and Cost Margin Reviews (CMR) to optimize hardware lifecycle cost.
• Provide 24/7 availability on a need basis to respond rapidly to urgent field issues impacting engine operations.
• Foster strong, collaborative relationships internally and externally with clear, proactive communication.

🎯 Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering with an excellent academic record.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience working with aero engines or turbomachinery, ideally in product support or engineering roles.
• Deep understanding of airworthiness requirements, service engineering tools, and aerospace regulations.
• Proven project leadership skills with experience coordinating cross-functional, global teams.
• Strong problem-solving and engineering analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with diverse stakeholders from engineers to customers.
• Willingness and ability to travel as required.
